We build clean, well-crafted software for specific problems — on the web and natively on the Mac — the kind that does one thing exceptionally well.
What we do
JollyForge is a boutique development studio. We take ideas from concept to production — on the web and natively on the Mac — focusing on performance, simplicity, and real-world usability over feature bloat.
Projects
Two products taken from concept to production — built entirely in-house.
Jmail is a fast, private email client for your Mac — every account (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Fastmail, any IMAP) in one native unified inbox, with no server of ours in the middle and nothing synced anywhere but your own machine. Email trackers are blocked by default. On top of the everyday inbox sit two extras: a personal CRM built from mail you already have, and the Private Vault — a sealed, encrypted compartment for the accounts you keep to yourself, opened by Touch ID or its own passphrase.
SmashingClays is the companion app for clay target shooters — covering disciplines from Skeet and Trap to Sporting Clays. It handles round scoring, personal statistics, social leaderboards, instructor booking, a community marketplace, and club management in one focused platform.
How we work
No lengthy discovery phases or bloated proposals. We move fast, stay lean, and ship things that work.
We're a small studio so we're selective — but if you have a focused problem and a real audience, we'd love to hear about it.
